Stampin' for the weekend - Challenge #42 Christmas in July

First some good news first.... I have just been asked to design for 'Little Claire's stamps' and be part of their DT, once the blog is up and running - will keep you posted...
                         ******************************************************

And now onto this weeks challenge on stampin' for the weekend we have come up with the theme of 'Christmas in July', what a fab idea to get your inspiration flowing for all those crimbo cards, it's not long off now gals...

and this weeks sponsor is ... Simon Says Stamp  who has a $25 shopping voucher for the lucky winner.

Christmas is July with the following sketch from our lovely Sandie...

I decided to use my magnolia's again for this particular card as I own quite a few of the christmas images... and chose this little cute pair otherwise know as 'Tilda and Edwin on Ice', together with 'Winter Forest' trees and the 'North Pole' postage seal. These have been shaded in using the following copic markers... E00, E21, E29, E33, E33, E35, E37, E51, R20, BG10, C1, C3, C5, B93, B95 & B97 and I have added stardust stickles to the edges of Tilda's coat.

For the forrest trees I have only used BG10, C1, C3 & C5 and coated the entire image with stardust stickes in order to crate a snowy effect.

I decided to rotate the sketch once to the left and selected chirstmas paper from Craft Creations, this was used together with doodlebug embossed paper.  The Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the pin from Quixotic Paperie and the pearls, silver jems, sprigg, jump rings and star are from my stash.

I have entered this card into the following challenges....
Stampavie - Sparkling

I do hope that you have enjoyed looking and please feel free to leave a comment.

Hugs x
